Sea Otter Event Bike Display
Sea Otter Classic bike event Monterey California
These bicycle displays were created for The Sea Otter Classic bike festival at Laguna Seca race track in Monterey California. I was tasked with creating a unique bike stand to feature 4 different category of bikes and the different terrains they are made for. Given the event was in California and the display needed to show the materials the bikes were made for I used the gold mining sluice box for the form inspiration. The displays were due in under two months with a budget of $5K. The end result was very successful, the displays garnered considerable attention from media, and consumers and dominated the event from a manufacturer display standpoint.
