The bike bump I designed to replace a family of wood bike stands we used in brand agnostic retail remodels for Dorel bike brands. My goal was to reduce overall part costs, weight for easier logistics, and number of parts. I realized an average reduction in cost of 82%, reduced weight by 75% and number of parts was reduced from 9 to 2 over old system. Bike Bump is made from 100% recycled polyethylene plastic.
